We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and snowboard passionate coaches to lead the next generation of snowboarders to a successful future.
The Akademy is a unique company that provides business, administration, and programming support for coaches to run coaching programs and camps. An incorporated social enterprise, it is headed by Leo Addington, the Canadian National Team Head Coach for Freestyle Snowboarding. Formerly the British Olympic Team coach for Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Leo has worked in Canadian snowboarding since 1998 with all levels from grom shredders to Olympic medal hopefuls.

To create an environment in that; programs thrive in a natural and progressive manner, coaches enjoy their work and have the time and focus to do it well, athletes feel part of a bigger family while retaining program and coach choices, parents feel safe and accounted to, everyone works together to form a better future.

To provide coaches with a strong and financially viable business to conduct their work. To advise and direct coaches towards good program and coaching choices. To support athletes through the design of good programs. To ensure good value for money. To create a business that is transparent in billing and costs. To aid in building a structure that integrates into current and future national standards.
